Good morning! 

Congratulations Champs on another fantastic meet. While we may not have had the most points at the end of the night, we most definitely showed up, swam our hearts out, and demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship. Thank you for your contributions to the concession stand, volunteering for jobs, and cheering on our swimmers! 

Here are the final results from the meet. Score: VST 207 - BTC 291 Individual Results: VST vs. BTC - 6/25/26

The concession stand raised $1281. All of those funds go directly back to the team to support scholarships, equipment, and fun events! Thank you!

Ribbons for both meets will be available in the ribbon box during practices on Monday. Thank you for your patience. 

Finally, I wanted to share a comment made by a BTC parent that I overheard on the pool deck last night. "The Vergennes swimmers do a really good job of congratulating the other swimmers after a race." This is a testament to the values instilled in our team by our amazing coaches. So, when you see Bill, Addie, Mitch, Acadia, and Cherise on the pool deck, please give them a thank you, not only for teaching our kids how to swim but also how to be admirable humans. 

As I say to my non-swimming friends, "There is so much to be learned from being on the swim team, and the most important lessons have nothing to do with swimming."
