The Vergennes Swim Team Is Looking For Sponsors!
We are the Vergennes Swim Team. For over 40 years, we have provided a fun and competitive summer youth swim program in northern Addison County. Following a great season in 2023, where we placed third at the Vermont Championships, we are looking for sponsors. Your sponsorship will help pay for swim caps, provide duckies and ribbons, provide scholarships, and equipment needs.
Accomplishments and Highlights:

- Secured third place at the 2023 Vermont State Championship Meet.
- Set two State Records.
- Had four relay teams crowned State Champions.
- Celebrated 12 individual State Champions.
Your support has enabled critical improvements:
- Upgraded pool facilities with new stadium lights.
- Acquired high-quality starting blocks from St. Alban's pool.
- Provided monogrammed swim caps for all team members.
- Introduced a fun tradition with over 500 rubber duckies awarded at home meets.
- Organized a memorable teen trip to watch the Olympic Swimming Trials in Indianapolis, providing our athletes with invaluable inspiration and experience.
We are one of the largest summer swim teams in the state of Vermont, and we are anticipating an even larger and stronger team this year! In addition to a fun and competitive environment, VST also promotes a lifelong love of swimming, safety in the water, good sportsmanship, and new friendships.
One of our sponsorship goals is to help the Vergennes Swim Team remain accessible to all families in our community. There can be many hidden costs in swimming, such as team swimsuits or caps. A 2017 study by USA Swimming found that 79 percent of children in families with household incomes less than $50,000 have no/low swimming ability. In addition, children who qualify for free or reduced school lunch programs are 63 percent less likely to be good swimmers. By providing scholarships, registration/fee offsets, and covering more of the hidden swimming costs, sponsors can help make swimming accessible to all our community children. USA Swimming also found that if a parent was a good swimmer, their children are 4.3 times more likely to also swim. Thus by sponsoring the VST, you may also be influencing the next generation of swimmers.

Bronze <$100- Name listed at home swim meets, Name or Business on VST website,
Silver $101-$350 2’ x 2’ Banner displayed at meets, Name/Logo on VST Website,
Gold >$350- 2’ x 5’ Banner displayed at meets, Name/Logo on VST Website
